CSS and PAX Community Internship

The CSS capstone course and PAX 392 course (usually crosslisted) is designed to support junior and senior level students in capping their academic experience at DePaul. Students will gain work experience reflective of their respective academic disciplines, while supporting the interest of a community based organization that works with the under served in the city of Chicago. CSS 395 is a requirement for students electing the Community Service Studies minor and PAX 392 is one way to fulfill the internship requirementmandatory for those electing the Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies major; it is optional for the Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies minor. Students are required to work 100 hours at their sites over the course of the academic quarter. Students are also required to attend the class sessions that correspond as a place for reflection and academic connection to the internship work.

** Once online application is submitted you will be notified via email of your acceptance into the program. At that moment you will be enrolled in the course by the instructor. Self enrollment for this course will not be allowed.
